The second issue of the CPD Newsletter will highlight to Members of the Malaysian Bar, the latest information regarding professional development, including programmes that have been implemented to enhance the delivery of professional development opportunities in the CPD Scheme.
As the current Chairperson, I would like to take a moment to recognise the tremendous contributions to the CPD Scheme that Dipendra Harshad Rai and Raphael Tay made over the last two years, as well as contributions by earlier Chairpersons without whom the foundations for effective professional development of the Malaysian Bar, would not have existed. Without their input and guidance, the administration and development of the CPD Scheme would undoubtedly have not taken shape as meaningfully as it has.
On behalf of the Bar Council Professional Standards and Development Committee, I am excited about the stewardship of the CPD Scheme at this point in its evolution, We hope to implement more new and vibrant approaches to the CPD Scheme to make it more accessible and inclusive to all Members and pupils. In the course of this e-Newsletter, we are happy to share some of these ideas with you, and I shall be happy to receive any feedback you have about the CPD Scheme.
