As mentioned in the last issue of the CPD e-Newsletter, we created a series of logos to enhance the connectivity to the various events conducted. We are presenting these logos again for the benefit of those who missed the earlier issue. We hope that these logos, which we have already started using, will add perspective and colour to the different CPD training events. These logos are aimed at micro-branding certain areas of training only.

The New CPD Logo

We have modernised the CPD logo, as can be seen on this e-Newsletter. The clean design reflects the simple, direct and accessible nature of the CPD Scheme. The colours on the logo project the vibrancy of the Malaysian Bar and the CPD Scheme, and it is modern and infused with energy and hope. The two tiers of blue highlight the progression and depth that Members of the Bar will have, with access to the CPD Scheme.

Events Categories

The objective of creating logos for the various CPD categories is to assist Members and pupils to identify the training categories easily, and to help them decide on the aspects of training that may be relevant to them. The training categories and the associated logos are:

01 Bridges

Bridges: This category covers events that are done in collaboration with external parties, both domestic and international.

02 Legal Learning Lab

Legal Learning Lab (L3): This category encompasses events that are conducted nationwide by the Bar Council and/or State Bars Committees. Covering core legal practice issues, L3 will initially focus on fundamental developments for each area of the law, and subsequently progress to intermediate and advance training levels.

03 CPD on Demand

CPD on Demand: This category reflects the existing Online Training Platform that may be used by Members and pupils to access online content.

04 Perintis

Perintis: This category refers to events conducted in Bahasa Malaysia.

05 Siri Pemikiran Kritis

Siri Pemikiran Kritis: This category covers events done in collaboration with the Bar Council National Young Lawyers Committee, by and for young lawyers.
